Most of us have things that are near and dear to our hearts. For me, those things are senior animal rescue, animal rescue in general, helping foster kids, feeding homeless, supporting women and children’s shelters and feeding the homeless. Nowadays we can give online while the professionals have people in place to roll out all the things we have supported buying with our donation dollars. Here, I am linking places I give to and have vetted myself. These are companies that are doing amazing work and really making a difference.

Part of how we keep the flow of abundance in our own life is by giving to others. Even a dollar makes a difference to places that collectively work to make a difference in the lives of others; humans and animals. So, no matter what your station in life, never think you can’t do your part. You can. A dollar a month even is a dollar a month added to assist a cause. So, go for it and know you will be joining someone else’s community to make a difference.

The Asher House is on a mission to make the world a better place one rescue animal at a time. PAWSITIVITY, LOVE, and LAUGHTER. Only give to them on this link. Do Not give on Facebook or any other social media. There are a lot of fakes out there (can you believe that?) ONLY GIVE AT HIS WEBSITE link above. Give to them monthly or just one time. Buy products or join Lee’s Patreon that funds the work.

Muttville is changing the way people think about and treat older dogs. They even have a wagcam to watch them getting loved in their free roaming muttville style. My husband and I have adopted three dogs from them and I have never been more impressed with the level of care they receive pre and post Muttville. They paid for two of our dogs to have $1200 dollar teeth work and they spend easily $1500 per dog to get them back to health when they come in (don’t quote me on the exact amount. I know its rougly that. Memory fades). I have lived the experience with Muttville and they are the most loving, superior animal rescue I have ever seen. They were nominated for a CNN Heroes Award as well. Give to them monthly or just one time.

Seneca Foster Care/Family Support: Seneca Family of Agencies (formerly Seneca Center) was founded in 1985 as a small Bay Area residential and day treatment program with a simple but powerful mission: to help children and families through the most difficult times of their lives. Since then, Seneca has expanded to provide a broad continuum of permanency, mental health, education, and juvenile justice services, which today reach over 18,000 youth and families throughout California and Washington State each year.

Feeding America: Your impact: $1 = 10 meals. Food nourishes and brings us together—especially during the holidays. Join the movement to end hunger. Every dollar you give can help provide at least 10 meals to families facing hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks. I have researched them and they have a B+ rating which is pretty good. Costs : $26 to raise every $100. 79% of all funds raised go to the cause, 21% to pay for overhead expenses and advertising to get the word out. This is the reality. It costs money to help others. Big picture, They raise millions every year that help feed hungry Americans.

Leon the Lobster: Leon was saved by one man who loves animals, aquatic life and cats and decided to rescue one from the store. Literally, rescuing him from the grocery store where people buy lobster to eat. Instead, he gave him a home and nursed him back to health. He let’s us see the condition Leon was in and how he revived his natural instinct to live and literally blossoms before our eyes. It’s heartwarming and he has become quite the YouTube sensation. If you want to give to Leon you can donate by buying some Leon merchandise that helps assist in his care.

This list will grow and develop. If you are looking for a way to help others, either once or ongoing, these are a few I either give to, have given too or have researched on your behalf for a giving opportunity. If you have a cause not listed here, please email me the Chairty for consideration to be added to this page @ sufani@placeofblisssanctuary.com.

Please also see the Charity Watch Dog page for any charity you are considering giving to.
